Lewis Ranch up for sale

The DeSoto County home of the late legendary rocker Jerry Lee Lewis is on the market. For a cool $1.6 million, you can own the residence where Lewis lived on Malone Road in Nesbit.

Lewis died nearly a year ago, on Oct. 28, 2022, at the age of 87.

Following his death, a legal battle developed with his wife Judith, his son Jerry Lee Lewis III, and the family of Cecil Harrelson, Lewis’ former road manager and songwriter, over who claimed control and possession of the home.  A judge ruled the property was in a life trust Lewis had given to Harrelson and Lewis’ son was ordered to vacate the property in March.

The Harrelson heirs reportedly are the sellers of the home.  It has been on the market for more than two months as of this writing.
