HGRC said it will hold an 18-hole, four-person members-only Memorial Day golf scramble on Sunday, May 24, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Entry is $10 cash per person, and a $20 per-person golf cart charge will apply for members not on the club’s cart plan. Flights will be determined by the number of participants, the club said.
The club said the golf course will be open Sunday, May 24, from 7 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. for regular member play and will close at 12:45 p.m. for the 1 p.m. scramble. On Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, the course will be open for members from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., the announcement said.
HGRC said the pool and restaurant will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. both Sunday and Monday. The club said staff member Faith is planning pool games for children, and the grill will serve Memorial Day items such as hamburgers and hot dogs. Music on the patio is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for members, the release said.
The club said it will be closed all day Tuesday because it will be open on Monday, May 25, for Memorial Day. Members wanting to enter the scramble were asked to assemble teams and notify the club, the announcement said.
