The Hernando Water Tower Festival is set to return September 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering a variety of family-friendly activities. The Water Tower Tikes Kidz Zone will provide children with games, face painting, balloon animals, and bounce houses, according to event organizers.
Additional attractions include a petting zoo featuring farm animals such as cows, chickens, goats, a mini donkey, and a pony from 9 a.m. to noon at KCB Farms. Visitors can enjoy train rides and participate in farm activities like cow roping and barrel racing, hosted by the DeSoto County Farm Bureau Federation and Ag in the Classroom.
Entertainment options include character meet-and-greets with Bluey and Bingo, Elsa and Anna, Mickey and Minnie, and Moana. The ConXion Gymnastics Station will be open from noon to 3 p.m., and the Center Stage Dance Sparkle Station will also be available. The event is free and designed for families to enjoy together, organizers said.
