DeSoto County Farm Bureau to return to Water Tower Tikes Kidz Zone on Sept. 26

DeSoto County Farm Bureau Federation and its Ag in the Classroom program will return to the Water Tower Tikes Kidz Zone on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the organization said.

Organizers said the event will feature hands-on farm activities for children, including cow milking demonstrations, cow roping and farm education sessions.

The Farm Bureau said a farm exhibit will be on site as part of the Kidz Zone. The group described the activities as family-friendly and geared toward introducing children to agriculture.

Organizers invited the public to attend the event at the Water Tower Tikes Kidz Zone, the Farm Bureau said.
