DeSoto Family Theatre is seeking submissions for the role of Bob Wallace in its upcoming production of Irving Berlin’s ‘White Christmas.’ Performances are scheduled for Dec. 11-14, 2026, the theater said.
The theater said it is seeking a strong male singer and actor to portray one half of the song-and-dance duo Wallace & Davis. The role is described as charming, confident, sincere and a classic leading man. Strong vocal and acting ability are required, the theater said.
To submit, actors should email a headshot, resume and a video featuring a 32-bar cut of a song in the style of the show to dft@dftonline.org, the theater said.
Submissions are due by Friday, Aug. 28, the theater said. The theater asked that the notice be shared with performers who may be a good fit.
