Garden Club recognizes National Garden Week in Mississippi

During National Garden Week in Mississippi, which was June 6-12, the DeSoto Civic Garden Club celebrated by presenting flower arrangements to the B. J. Chain Public Library in Olive Branch and the M. R. Davis  Public Library in Southaven.  

Club member Emilie Michael brought an arrangement of fresh flowers from her garden to the B. J. Chain Public Library that consisted of Spirea, coreopsis, roses, coneflowers, hosta, yarrow, angel wing begonia, sage, and zinnias.

The DeSoto Civic Garden Club is a member of the National Garden Clubs, Inc., the Deep South Garden Clubs, Inc., and The Garden Clubs of Mississippi, Inc., Hills and Delta District.
