Garden Club does fall planting at Thistledome

Several DeSoto Civic Garden Club (DCGC) members met in November to complete plans made earlier in the fall with a horticultural project at the historic Thistledome at Byhalia. 

At that time, garden club members planted Duchesse 1856 DeNemours Peonies by volunteer Luise Lauzon (left) and DCGC members (left to right) Sheila Deese, Sandra Stafford, and Andrea Michaelto enhance the beauty of the property.

The DeSoto Civic Garden Club is a member of the National Garden Clubs, Inc., Deep South Garden Clubs, Inc., and The Garden Clubs of Mississippi, Inc., Hills and Delta District.
