Garden club meets at Botanic Garden

The May meeting of the DeSoto Civic Garden Club was held at the Memphis Botanic Garden in Memphis. 

Allison Ashmore, District Director of Hills and Delta and a member of the Charleston Magnolia Club presented a program on Herbs. Allison used Herbs to identify each officer as she installed them to their 2023-2024 term. 

The program continued when Botanic Garden staff member Mary HePen Bi gave a guided tour of the many beautiful areas of the garden.  Club members were given Dahlia Tubers to plant for beautification of our community.

DeSoto Civic Garden Club is a member of The National Garden Clubs, Inc.,  Deep South Garden Clubs, Inc. and The Garden Clubs of Mississippi, Inc.
