FBI: Nashville officers locate, rescue child miles away

The FBI’s Nashville field office said a complaint and detailed information provided by Captain Nelson led Detective Chase to locate and rescue a child many miles away.

The office said the case began with a complaint and that Captain Nelson gathered detailed information. Detective Chase then conducted the investigative work that located and saved the child, the office said.

The field office said children are its “most precious and vulnerable beings” and that there is no limit to protecting them.

The office praised the two officers in a post, writing, “Job well done, Capt. Nelson and Det. Chase.”
