Northwest Mississippi Community College said in a social media post that its national-champion women’s soccer team visited the Governor’s Mansion and the Mississippi Capitol and that the college thanked Gov. Tate Reeves and state legislators for their hospitality.

The Olive Branch Fire Department extinguished a structure fire and officers reopened College Road, Mayor Ken Adams said. The city had earlier urged motorists to avoid College Road at the Mitchell Corner Subdivision and use an alternate route.
