Olive Branch officials say fire extinguished, College Road reopened
The Olive Branch Fire Department extinguished a structure fire and officers reopened College Road, Mayor Ken Adams said.
In a post from the City of Olive Branch government account, Adams said the fire was out and thanked residents for their patience. “Thank you for your patience and have a good night,” he wrote.
Earlier, the city urged motorists to avoid College Road at the Mitchell Corner Subdivision while the Olive Branch Fire Department worked to extinguish the structure, the post said. The city advised drivers to use College Road near Bethel Road as an alternate route.
The post did not provide information about injuries or the cause of the fire, Mayor Ken Adams and the City of Olive Branch government account said.
