The Southaven Chamber of Commerce said it will host a Star Wars–themed Par Wars: Golf & Games Tournament at Olive Branch Country Club, featuring golf, pickleball, a costume contest and networking opportunities.

The Olive Branch Police Department will offer shredding and medication disposal Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Mayor Ken Adams said. DeSoto Shred will provide shredding and the city listed year-round drop-off sites.

The City of Olive Branch said DeSoto Shred provided on-site shredding at the Olive Branch Police Department and residents could drop off expired or unwanted prescription medications, the city said.
