Alli Rose Twilley will play the Ayah in “The Secret Garden,” DFT said. The theater announced she is returning to the DFT stage after eight years and that the performance is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tickets are available at dftonline.org/thesecretgarden, the announcement said.
DFT said Twilley has participated in theater since age 5. The theater listed her past roles as Miss Argentina in “Beetlejuice Jr.” at Panola Playhouse and Persephone in “Hadestown: Teen Edition” at Kudzu Playhouse.
The theater described Twilley as bringing “grace and quiet strength” to the production and said she is pursuing a career in performing arts and film. DFT said she is excited to return to the company’s stage.
The announcement included a citation of Luke 12:22-26, DFT said.
