The Junior Auxiliary of DeSoto County said on its website that its Day at the Derby event is one week away and will raise money to support children in the community.
The organization said the event will feature fun, fashion and fundraising activities for attendees.

The Junior Auxiliary encouraged community members to attend to support local children, according to the announcement.
