Police investigate shooting, assault, at Southaven apartment complex

Morning dispute injures two at Southaven apartment complex.

Information on incident at Olive Branch Kroger on Thursday.

The store was evacuated while the device was investigated and inspected by the police.

Reports are that power was affected as far east as the DeSoto Athletic Club and as far west as the Windchase area of Horn Lake.

The case took a turn, however, when it was determined the victim had actually fabricated the entire incident.

Police said they found a number of inconsistencies in information they received in conversations and interviews.

Officers secured the area while awaiting assistance from the Shelby County bomb squad.

Olive Branch police have a person in custody after a shooting incident at a local warehouse that wounded another person.
