Southaven police report two missing persons

Southaven police have put out calls for public assistance in finding two missing persons, one reported missing Tuesday, Sept. 26, and the other has been missing for at least two weeks.  

Hakim Carothers, a Black male age 24, was last seen on Tuesday leaving his residence in a white 2010 Nissan Murano with a temporary Tennessee license tag.  

Police say he was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with ‘Method to Madness’ written on the front in white lettering, black Adidas jogging pants with a white stripe, Nike slide shoes, and a Black baseball-style hat.

Also missing is Bonita Adams, age 36, a Black woman last seen at the Raceway gas station on Stateline Road West on Sept. 13.  Police said Adams has blond hair and wears glasses. She was last seen wearing denim capri pants and a pink t-shirt. In both cases, if you have seen Adams and Carothers, or know of their whereabouts, you are asked to contact the Southaven Police Department at 662-393-8652 or email tips@southaven.org
