Tanner Newman, a Republican candidate for Northern District Public Service Commissioner, has received the endorsement of the Mississippi Automobile Dealers Association (MADA), his campaign has announced. Newman, of Tupelo, is running against state Rep. Chris Brown (R-Nettleton) for the party nomination and election with no Democratic opposition for the seat.

“We believe that Tanner Newman is the right choice to serve as the next Northern District Public Service Commissioner,” said MADA president Marty Milstead. “The communities and customers that our automobile dealerships serve support candidates that will join us in working to move Mississippi forward.”
