Action in the MHSAA volleyball playoffs continues Tuesday with second round matches for the remaining DeSoto County teams.
In 6A first round play on Saturday, DeSoto Central eliminated Starkville, Southaven advanced past Clinton, and Tupelo defeated Center Hill.
That sets up Tuesday’s second round pairings with Madison Central playing at Region 1-6A champion Lewisburg, Southaven traveling to Region 3-6A winner Oxford, Region 2-6A champ Hernando hosting Tupelo, and DeSoto Central traveling to Region 4-6A champion Germantown.
Lake Cormorant, Region 1-5A champion, hosts Columbus in a 5A second-round match.
Tuesday winners from both classes will play in the third round of the playoffs on Thursday.
