Mustangs continue 5A track dominance

Center Hill continues their dominance of track and field as teams get closer to state competition.  

This past Saturday, Center Hill girls won its fourth straight 5A region title and the boys were third in the team standings.  

Complete results of the meet were posted on the Mississippi MileSplit website.  

The previous Saturday, Center Hill girls track team won their 10th-straight district title and the boys placed second. 

In the district meet, the Lady Mustangs scored 100 points to second-place Lafayette (Oxford) with 85. Saltillo was third with 66 points and Lake Cormorant finished with 16.

Center Hill will host the 5A North Half track meet this Saturday, April 24 ahead of the state meet the following weekend in Pearl.
