Monday sports: Hendrichovsky named All-Star coach

Prep soccer regular season games begin for DeSoto County schools

Lewisburg volleyball coach Amy Hendrichovsky Monday was named one of the two coaches for the North in the Mississippi Association of Coaches Volleyball All-Star Game. Hendrichovsky will coach the North All-Stars along with Taylor Elliott of Lafayette (Oxford).  The All-Star contest will take place July 10 at Brandon High School.  

Hendrichovsky led the Lady Patriots to the MHSAA 7A state championship over Brandon on Oct. 19 at Ole Miss.
