Lady Rangers finish at 20 in ITA JUCO Rankings

After competing in its first NJCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Championship in program history, Northwest has ended the 2024 season ranked No. 20 in the final JUCO rankings for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). 

Northwest was one of eight MACCC programs to finish in the top 25, joining Jones College at No. 7, 11th-ranked Mississippi Gulf Coast, Meridian at No. 13, 15th-ranked Itawamba, No. 16 Copiah-Lincoln, 23rd-ranked Hinds and No. 25 East Central.

Northwest finished the 2024 season with a 7-7 overall record and tied Copiah-Lincoln for 16th in the NJCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Championship standings. The Lady Rangers finished with 10.5 total points in the postseason tournament, highlighted by Allie Rawles’ championship in Flight 5 Consolation Singles. The Winona native won the consolation finals with an 8-6 victory against Laura Kotala of USC-Sumter.
