Olive Branch officials closed the westbound lanes of Highway 78 after a motor vehicle crash with injuries, Mayor Ken Adams said.
The closure is past Highway 305 at the weigh station, and westbound traffic is being diverted into the weigh station, Adams said in a statement from the City of Olive Branch government.
Adams urged motorists to use alternate routes while crews work at the scene, the statement said.
The city said there was no estimated timeframe for when law enforcement crews would be able to reopen the roadway.
