Water Tower Festival in Hernando

The annual Water Tower Festival was held on the Courthouse Square in Hernando Saturday. The annual event brings the community together to celebrate Hernando and its iconic water tower, erected in 1925, and now serves as a symbol of the DeSoto County seat.

The fun-filled Saturday in September on the historic Town Square had something for everyone, including a variety of arts and crafts and business booth vendors, BBQ competition, and a free kids zone area. The event is an offering put together by the Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce.
