Three hurt in DeSoto County crash

The Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) is investigating an accident that took place in Walls on Tuesday, Feb. 7.  

MHP reported the crash occurred about 6:55 p.m. on U.S. Highway 61 at Highway 161.  According to MHP, a 2012 Nissan Rogue traveling west of Highway 161 collided with a 2013 Toyota Sienna traveling south on Highway 61.  Three people were hurt in the crash, but their names and extent of injuries were not released. They were reportedly taken to a local hospital for treatment. 

The crash remains under investigation with the Highway Patrol.
