Station 2B wins Southaven Fire Department CPAT challenge
Station 2B posted the fastest overall team time in the Southaven Fire Department’s annual CPAT challenge, earning the trophy and bragging rights for the year, the department said.
The department said the CPAT challenge requires each member to complete a standardized physical ability test individually. Crew times are averaged to determine the most physically fit team.
Southaven Fire Department officials said every crew pushed hard and supported one another. The department said the results reflected a high level of commitment to readiness and strength across all stations.
The department said the performance across all stations underscores that physical readiness is a priority. It congratulated Station 2B on the win and praised the collective effort of its firefighters.
