A popular Mid-South breakfast restaurant option is coming to DeSoto County.

Staks Pancake Kitchen this week announced on social media the plans to open a third restaurant as part of the Silo Square development in Southaven.

The new location is also listed on its website, stakspancakes.com as 2902 May Boulevard in Southaven.  That is off Getwell Road across the street from Snowden Grove Park and the BankPlus Amphitheater.

Staks has two current restaurants, in Germantown, Tennessee at 7704 Poplar Avenue, and in Memphis at 4615 Poplar Avenue, which is the original location in the Laurelwood Collection center.

Calling itself half-diner, half-coffee shop, Staks boasts that all of its ingredients and products are locally sourced whenever commercially available with fair trade business practices.

Best Things Tennessee rated the restaurant as having one of the top ten omelets in the state.

Staks also offers catering and online ordering.

It is expected Staks Pancake Kitchen will open at its Silo Square location later this spring.
