The Olive Branch Police Department said it received multiple calls about motor vehicle accidents, power outages and trees down across the city during severe weather and that officers are actively responding to calls for service.
The department said officers will continue working to assist residents and keep the community safe.
The department urged anyone experiencing an emergency or needing police assistance to contact them immediately, according to the post.
The message was posted on the City of Olive Branch government page and was signed by Mayor Ken Adams, city officials said.
