Olive Branch officials warn of heavy traffic near Landers Center during graduations

Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams and the Olive Branch Police Department warned motorists to expect heavy traffic in and around the Landers Center during graduation season, saying traffic will be heavier over the next two weeks.

Those traveling from Olive Branch to the Landers Center should anticipate delays, the officials said. The Olive Branch Police Department listed expected heavy traffic times as May 14 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.; May 19 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.; May 20 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.; May 21 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.; May 22 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.; May 23 from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and May 24 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Officials urged drivers to plan ahead and expect delays during those times, the police department said.

Mayor Ken Adams and the Olive Branch Police Department also extended congratulations to graduates and their families celebrating the milestones.
