Landers Center warns of heavy traffic during graduation events

The Landers Center warned drivers to prepare alternate routes over the next two weeks because of heavier traffic tied to graduation events, the center said.

Expected heavy-traffic periods, the center said, are May 14 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.; May 19 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.; May 20 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.; May 21 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.; May 22 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.; May 23 from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and May 24 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The announcement urged motorists to plan ahead and expect delays in and around the Landers Center during those times, the center said.

The Landers Center also congratulated the Class of 2026 and families celebrating the ceremonies, the statement said.
