Crash on Highway 305 briefly closes lane; road reopened, officials say
A crash with injuries on Highway 305 southbound under the Highway 78 overpass briefly reduced traffic to one lane but has since reopened, the Olive Branch Police Department said.
The department said southbound traffic was shut down to one lane while responders worked at the scene and urged motorists to use an alternate route.
In an earlier update, the department said it could not estimate when the roadway would reopen.
Mayor Ken Adams posted the reopening notice on the City of Olive Branch government page, thanking residents for their patience and urging them to stay safe. The department did not provide details on the number of people injured or the cause of the crash.
