Olive Branch lieutenant named Officer of the Month after kidnapping response
Lieutenant Ashley Holladay was named Officer of the Month for March 2026 by the Olive Branch Police Department, the department said. She was recognized for her leadership and initiative during a recent critical incident involving a kidnapped juvenile.
The department said Holladay immediately took charge of the case and demonstrated urgency, professionalism and strong coordination.
The department said she proactively engaged external agencies and worked closely with law enforcement partners in Colorado Springs. The department said Holladay played a key role in locating the juvenile and that her actions were instrumental in ensuring a swift, effective multi‑agency response.
Mayor Ken Adams and the City of Olive Branch government congratulated Holladay and thanked her for her service, the city said.
