Olive Branch hosts 15th annual Memorial Day tribute on May 29
The City of Olive Branch will hold its 15th annual Memorial Day tribute at Blocker Cemetery, located at 9441 Pigeon Roost Road, on Monday, May 29, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., according to city officials.
The event, presented by the Knights of Columbus, will proceed rain or shine. Attendees should be aware that the program may include live cannon fire, rifle salutes, sound effects resembling helicopters, and a helicopter flyover, organizers said.
Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams encouraged residents to attend and honor those who served. The ceremony aims to remember fallen service members and recognize their sacrifices.
