Olive Branch announces Mayor’s Youth Council

Aug. 23, 2024 – Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams and the City of Olive Branch announced its 2024-2025 Mayor’s Youth Council. The council is composed of 20 juniors and seniors who are all residents of the City of Olive Branch from across six area high schools: Center Hill High School, Christian Brothers High School (Memphis,) DeSoto Central High School, Lewisburg High School, Northpoint Christian School, and Olive Branch High School.

This council meets twice monthly from September through April and focuses on leadership and civic development. Council members will participate in service projects along with the ability to develop and lead initiatives to better help the City of Olive Branch. All council members will have the opportunity to attend the Mississippi Municipal League (MML) Statewide Youth Leadership Summit in the Spring of 2025.
