Northcentral moratorium on disconnects during excessive heat warning

Northcentral Electric Cooperative has announced that it will suspend disconnects to members due to nonpayment during the excessive heat warnings.  The announcement was posted on Northcentral’s social media pages just after noon on Wednesday, June 28.

“These heat warnings are expected to continue through the weekend.  We want to help provide what relief we can, by allowing our members little extra time to pay their bill,” says Northcentral CEO & General Manager Kevin Doddridge.

This is not a forgiveness of any balance, usages, and past due amounts will continue to accrue during this time.  Those members struggling to pay their balance are encouraged to call Northcentral Customer Service at 662-895-2151, to discuss potential payment arrangements.

Northcentral Electric Cooperative is a member-owned cooperative serving over 36,000 members in Olive Branch and Byhalia  along with parts of Tate and Lafayette counties in North Mississippi.
