Organizers said the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend will take place May 2-3 at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial to recognize 204 firefighters who died in the line of duty.
The weekend will include a Candlelight Service and a Memorial Service, organizers said. Families, departments and communities are expected to gather to remember the firefighters’ sacrifice and legacy.
