Following is the latest list of candidates for the April 6 municipal primary election in DeSoto County cities, as reported by the respective city clerk’s offices as of Friday.
The list does include all of the DeSoto County cities.
Candidates have until Feb. 5 to file for the primary election. Any runoff elections needed would take place on April 27. The general election will be held this year on June 8.
We will attempt to provide updated information on this website at least weekly, if not twice weekly, until the deadline.
NOTE: An updated list was received Monday, Jan. 11 from the City of Horn Lake with some revisions on their list. William Egner is now listed as running as a Democrat for Alderman at-Large, incumbent Tommy Bledson has been added for Ward 2 as a Republican. Those revisions have been reflected on the list below.
