The DeSoto County Dream Center said every dollar donated through the end of Matching Week will be matched dollar for dollar, doubling the impact of gifts to the organization.
Organizers said supporters may register for the DC Race 5K or make a donation online. Race registration is available at https://runsignup.com/Race/MS/Southaven/DGRace and donations can be made at https://www.desotodreamcenter.org/give, the center said.
The center said contributions help provide health care, emergency food and clothing, educational assistance and other services for families across DeSoto County.
Organizers urged residents to register for the race or donate before the matching period ends, saying the offer will double the value of contributions made during Matching Week.
