Man arrested on sexual abuse, battery charges

Olive Branch police Thursday, May 4, reported the arrest of an Olive Branch man, charging him with sexual abuse, battery, and unnatural intercourse charges.

Arrested was Daniel Paul Harris, age 44, of Neil Avenue in Olive Branch. Police said Harris was charged with two counts of sexual abuse, two counts of sexual battery, and one count of unnatural intercourse. Harris received a total bond of $725,000.

Little more was immediately said about the circumstances leading to the arrest. Police credited District Attorney Bob Morris, the Southaven Police Department, and the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Department for their assistance in this investigation.
