Investigation into Walmart incident continues

There have been no new developments as Olive Branch Police continue investigating Sunday’s incident where vehicles were taken and a person was wounded by gunfire. Police continue working on leads and investigating the circumstances where vehicles were stolen and a person shot. 

Checking with Olive Branch Police Thursday morning, they had nothing new to report about the theft of two vehicles from the Walmart Supercenter parking lot on Sunday, Nov. 7. 

Police reported officers being called there on the report of shots being fired and stolen vehicles. 

The victims were approached by three individuals who demanded the keys to their vehicles, a demand that resulted in an altercation. One person was struck by gunfire and was transported to Regional One Health in Memphis for treatment.  

The suspects left the scene in the vehicles.
