An injury prevention event will be held at the NWCC Ranger Center from 10 a.m. to noon on July 31, organizers said.
Baptist DeSoto, the Mississippi Trauma Care System Foundation and the Mississippi State Department of Health’s Trauma Systems of Care are hosting the event, organizers said.
Organizers said the event will include hands-on demonstrations, injury prevention and safety awareness tips, emergency preparedness guidance and information on what to do if an emergency occurs.
Organizers said the program will bring together healthcare professionals, first responders and local organizations to provide education to the community and invited residents to attend.
