Hernando woman missing from riverboat

Memphis police officials Sunday put out an “Urgent City Watch Alert” for a Hernando woman listed as missing.

According to police, Tamia Taylor, age 21 was to meet friends and get on a riverboat about 11:30 p.m. Saturday night. When the cruise ended and the boat docked, Taylor wasn’t found. Officers came on a missing persons call to the 300 block of Riverside Drive early Sunday morning.

Taylor is 5-foot-7 and was last seen wearing a beige shirt, white shorts, white shoes and a black jacket.

Those with information about Tamia Taylor’s whereabouts are to call Memphis Police at 901-545-COPS.
