Garden club observes Arbor Day

DeSoto Civic Garden Club members Sheila Deese, Emilie Michael, Lynn Dye, Diane Bullington and Donna Carey spent a fun morning at Quality Landscape and Garden Center choosing and purchasing a beautiful Dogwood tree for Arbor Day, honoring DCGC President, Emilie Michael.

Having been delayed by bad weather, the Dogwood was planted at the ARK trails, site selected by Debbie Crum, Director of Mississippi Wildlife Rehabilitation, Inc.  and  planted by ARK volunteers, Bo and Charlie.

DeSoto Civic Garden Club is a member of The National Garden Clubs, Inc.,  Deep South Garden Clubs, Inc. and The Garden Clubs of Mississippi, Inc.
