Three Hernando businesses are teaming up on two new Hernando LEGO events this month. The Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce announced Saturday that Bricks & Minifigs Hernando is partnering with Lost Pizza Co. and Yo Bro Coffee Co. on a family pizza night and a free daytime building meetup.
The chamber’s post said the three local businesses are “working together to bring creativity & community to everyone” and asked residents to mark their calendars.
Family LEGO Night at Lost Pizza Co.
The first event is a Family LEGO Night at Lost Pizza Co., 2445 Highway 51 South in Hernando, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 20. The cost is $55, paid at the door. According to the flyer, that covers:
A medium one-topping pizza for two people
Two drink tickets
A Halloween minifigure
Plenty of LEGO bricks to build with
LEGO building prompts to spark ideas
Note: The flyer lists the date as “Wednesday, October 20,” but Oct. 20, 2026, falls on a Tuesday. Families planning to go should confirm the date with Bricks & Minifigs Hernando or Lost Pizza Co. before heading out.
Free Bricks & Brew at Yo Bro Coffee
The second event, Bricks & Brew, is free. It runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29, at Yo Bro Coffee Co., 2425 East Street in Hernando. Organizers promise loads of LEGO, building prompts, “creativity & laughter” and a chance to connect with neighbors over coffee. The midday time slot makes it a good fit for homeschool families, retirees and anyone with a long lunch break.
MOC Contest Voting Under Way at Bricks & Minifigs
Bricks & Minifigs Hernando, the LEGO resale and collectibles shop, is also running blind voting for its Spooky Season MOC (“My Own Creation”) contest. The store said Friday that customers can stop in and vote now through next weekend. The top three vote-getters win a prize, and every entrant is entered into a raffle.
The shop recently showed off a repair job, too: it rewired and restored a customer’s childhood LEGO Set 4560 Railway Express train from 1999.
The LEGO nights add to a busy October calendar in downtown Hernando, which also includes the Witches Ride and the chamber’s Ghouls Night Out on Oct. 22.
