Garden Club assists in Wreaths Across America

As a part of its involvement, DeSoto Civic Garden Club members placed Christmas wreaths at the Blocker Cemetery in Olive Branch.  This was done to commemorate the National Wreaths Across America Day on Dec. 17. 

 Each December on this particular day, the mission to “Remember, Honor and Teach” is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well at more than 3,700 additional locations in all 50 states of the U.S.A.. Blocker Cemetery was fortunate to be a part of this wonderful day in honoring the veterans in Olive Branch who gave so much for our country.
