Free community shredding set Thursday in Southaven

A free community shred day will be held Thursday, May 14, at 500 Stateline Road in Southaven, Mississippi, The DeSoto County Brief said.

Organizers, including DeSoto Shred, said residents can drive up, drop off sensitive documents and have them securely shredded on site.

The DeSoto County Brief said boxes should not exceed 50 pounds. Organizers urged residents to follow that limit to ensure safe handling.

The event is free and intended to help residents safely dispose of sensitive documents and reduce clutter, organizers said.
