DeSoto Family Theatre said registration is open for two summer musical-theatre camps, offering programs for children and teens from mid-June through mid-July.
Theatre officials said “Schoolhouse Rock Live, Jr.” will run June 15-26 for ages 8-16 and will be directed by Wesley Barnes. The theatre said the camp will feature classic songs including “Just a Bill” and “Conjunction Junction.”
DeSoto Family Theatre said “Legally Blonde, Jr.” will run July 6-17 for ages 12-16 and will be directed by Mary Helen McCord. The theatre described the production as focused on confidence and friendship.
The theatre said both camps will conclude with a final performance for family and friends. To register, the theatre directed interested parties to dftonline.org/summercamp2026.
