The DeSoto Civic Garden Club members along with other volunteers in the community previously decorated a Christmas tree in the rotunda of the DeSoto County courthouse in Hernando.
Later, they also decorated the entrance to the courthouse building with magnolia leaves, holly berries, and other forms of greenery which was accented by red ribbons.
The DeSoto Civic Garden Club is a member of the National Garden Clubs, Inc., Deep South Garden Clubs, Inc., and The Garden Clubs of Mississippi, Inc.
