Burned body identified as missing man sought by Horn Lake police
UPDATE JULY 29: Over the weekend, Memphis police confirmed the identity of the body found in the burned out car as that of Jaderius Webb. There was no further word on the circumstances around his death and the investigation continues. CLICK HERE to read the report from WMC-TV. Horn Lake police on Friday, July 26 confirmed the vehicle in the Memphis city impound lot as belonging to Webb.

July 23 – It’s believed the body of a missing person that Horn Lake Police have been searching for since late last week was found inside a burning vehicle at the City of Memphis Impound Lot.
Jaderius Webb, age 20, was reported missing Saturday in a Facebook post made by police Saturday evening. Webb was last seen on Friday night, according to police.

Police later updated its social media post to say that the body of Webb was believed to have been located in Memphis and that the Horn Lake department was working with Memphis Police in the investigation.
Media reports Tuesday night said a vehicle was found to be in flames at an address in southwest Memphis on Saturday. The fire was put out and the car was towed to the impound lot. That was when the body was found and reports are that the burned vehicle belonged to Webb.
The identity of the victim, although it is believed to be that of Webb, and the exact cause of death had not been determined as of Tuesday night. The investigation continues into the case, which is being termed as a homicide.
