The Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce is accepting vendor applications for this year’s Hernando Water Tower Festival and says interested parties must apply by email.

Northwest Mississippi Community College said it hosted the AMCCCM Mississippi Community College Choral Festival last Thursday and Friday, bringing students from community colleges across the state and the University of Memphis together for performances and collaboration.

Southaven Young Professionals are asking businesses and individuals to sponsor students and exhibit at the LeaderSYP Conference to help equip teens and young adults with workplace skills, organizers said.

The City of Olive Branch announced it will host the Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall June 4-8, 2026, at the George M. Harrison Municipal Soccer Complex, the city said. The announcement was made on National Vietnam War Veterans Day as a tribute to those who served.

The Olive Branch Police Department said Highway 302 near Legacy Boulevard has reopened after its Accident Reconstruction Team cleared the scene. The department had asked drivers to slow down and use extra caution while investigators worked.

The City of Olive Branch said 68 volunteers joined the Mayor’s Youth Council for a Community Clean Up Day at City Park. The city said it offers free cleanup kits to residents and groups that pledge to clear roads, intersections or neighborhoods.
