The City of Southaven said Jim Saucier Memorial Park, next to City Hall, was donated by longtime DeSoto County resident Jim Saucier and includes a pavilion, walking trail, playground and a waterfall often used for photos.

Officers from across the country gathered this week for the Fourth Annual Scotty Triplett Motor Rodeo, the Olive Branch Police Department said. Officer Qwazavia Lewis earned second place in the Novice Division, the department said.
